Ogier Cayman has an especially active profile in the multi-jurisdictional charitable organisation Hedge Funds Care. Peter Cockhill, Ogier partner, is a founding member who has chaired the Cayman Committee of Hearts since 2007 and has co-chaired the Grant Committee since inception. In addition, he holds a seat on the global board of directors. Denise Gower, senior manager of marketing and business development, serves as secretary to the Cayman board and co-chairs the Grant Committee with Peter.

Hedge fund industry professionals including attorneys, accountants, administrators, prime brokers, investment managers and information providers, established Hedge Funds Care ('HFC'), a charitable organisation focused on assisting young victims of abuse and neglect, in 1998. Since that time, chapters have opened in New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Atlanta, Boston, Denver, Toronto, Cayman and London.

The Cayman chapter, which held its first event in 2005, has raised and distributed over US$600,000 to assist in the eradication and treatment of child abuse in the Cayman Islands. Hedge Funds Care Cayman is committed to building community resources and funding activities that strengthen vulnerable families. It supports initiatives which preserve the integrity of the family without jeopardising child safety, enhance permanency planning, improve foster care and adoption, and provide clinical treatment to victims as well as support to family members. Hedge Funds Care Cayman is also committed to enhancing awareness within the community about the problem of abuse, particularly among children, in order to facilitate disclosure and break the cycle.
