Cayman International Relief

The International Relief team's 2009 goals include the support of SOS Children's Villages, the world's largest orphan charity. The team has now exceeded their initial goal of US $20,000 by raising over $26,000 to benefit the primary school in a new village established in Basse, The Gambia, with the hope of establishing a long-term, firm-wide relationship with these new families.

The donation will provide the salaries for the five teachers at the SOS Primary School at the village which is providing education to 33 children living in the children's village itself and an additional 124 children in the wider community, 157 in total. Plus will also provide school materials - books and stationery. The team will also solicit support for disaster relief on an as-needed basis.
