Sarah Fitz - Chairman

 

 

Sarah Fitz is Chairman of the Ogier Group and was appointed in February 2012. She is Head of the Jersey firm’s Personal Law team. She specialises in criminal and family matters and undertakes prosecutions on behalf of the Crown.

Sarah graduated with a degree in Theology and a Diploma in Law. She was called to the English Bar in 1986 and the Jersey Bar in 1989.  More details >>


 

 


Nick Kershaw - Group Chief Executive Officer, Chief Executive Officer Legal

 

Nick Kershaw is the Group Chief Executive Officer. Prior to his appointment he was the managing partner of the Jersey law firm and a partner in the Jersey Business & Trust Law Group specialising in investment funds and corporate work. He was formerly ranked by the Legal 500 as the number one investment funds lawyer in Jersey and by Chambers as one of the top two corporate / commercial lawyers in Jersey.

Nick studied at King’s College, University of London and Inns of Court School of Law in London. He became an English Barrister in 1988 and then requalified as a Jersey Advocate in 1996, becoming a partner of Ogier in 1997. Prior to joining Ogier he was with Clifford Chance in London. Paul Willing - Chief Executive Officer Ogier Fiduciary Services



 

Paul Willing is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ogier Fiduciary Services having joined Ogier in 2002 and becoming partner in 2004.

Paul graduated from University College London in 1988, and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1991 with Price Waterhouse (now PricewaterhouseCoopers). During his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Paul worked in both Jersey and Geneva gaining wide experience in the offshore financial services industry.

Prior to being appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2009, he has overseen the Private Wealth, Investment Fund and Real Estate administration business of Ogier Fiduciary Services. Paul retains an active involvement in each of these practice areas. More details >>

James Bergstrom - Chief Executive Officer Ogier Legal Services




James Bergstrom is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ogier Legal Services having joined Ogier's Cayman office in 1991 and becoming partner in 1998.

He was the Managing Partner of the Cayman office from 2002 to 2010 and head of Ogier’s global investment funds team from 2006 until the end of 2010. He relocated to Hong Kong in 2011 to head up the Hong Kong office as Managing Partner. He received his Bachelor of Law, with Honours, from the University of London in 1990.

James is a member of the Cayman Islands Law Society (council member since 1998), the Caymanian Bar Association (council member from 2002 to 2011 and President from 2008 to 2011), the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple of England and Wales and is a Notary Public in the Cayman Islands. James was a council member of the Cayman Islands Stock Exchange from 2006 to 2010.  More details >>

Helen Bunbury - Group Chief Operating Officer 

 




Helen Bunbury joined Ogier as Group Chief Operating Officer in 2007 from Royal and SunAlliance Plc where she held a number of senior roles including, Operations Director, Change Director and latterly as Group Chief Internal Auditor for their International Businesses and Group Corporate Office. Helen has worked in the Financial Services Industry for 18 years and is a Chartered Insurer. 

As Group Chief Operating Officer Helen is accountable for the financial and operational effectiveness of the overall Ogier Group and leading the implementation of Group Strategy.  As part of this role she is accountable for the delivery of HR, Finance, IT, Infrastructure & Planning, Business Development, Knowledge Management, Compliance, Company Secretarial and Strategy across the business.
