An Ogier team led by Roger Le Tissier advised on the creation and authorisation of Duke Street Capital Structured Solutions Limited Partnership and its general partner, DSCSS GP Limited. The limited partnership will invest in a portfolio of equity interests in financial companies and structured vehicles comprising of financial asset portfolios. In particular, it will target the bulk provision of pension annuities and other areas of retirement provision, as well as the secondary corporate securitisation market.
The limited partnership is a major investor in Pension Insurance Corporation which was recently launched and authorised by the FSA when Edmund Truell, the former chairman of Duke Street Capital, raised £1 billion in capital to back it.
