Ogier Guernsey has advised JP Morgan Worldwide Security Services on its agreement to acquire the private equity administration services business of Schroders PLC. With offices in both Guernsey and Bermuda, Schroders' private equity administration services business currently has approximately US$6.2 billion in committed capital under administration.

The deal, which is subject to regulatory approval, will broaden the global network of JP Morgan Worldwide Securities Services, who are committed to expanding their private equity administration offering. Schroders' private equity administration business was initially developed to support "Schroder Ventures", an in-house private equity business that is no longer part of the Schroders Group, and later expanded into third-party administration.
