Ogier is delighted to announce the appointment of Gareth Thomas as Managing Director of Ogier Fiduciary Services (BVI) Ltd. 
Gareth joined Ogier on 10 August after 7 years at Codan Trust Company (B.V.I) Ltd, an affiliate company of Conyers Dill and Pearman, where he was the General Manager.
Gareth began his career in London working at both PricewaterhouseCoopers and Schroders plc before moving offshore to Bermuda and then to the British Virgin Islands (BVI) in 2002.
Gareth sits on the BVI Company Law Review Advisory Committee and is the Founding Chairman of the ICSA branch in the BVI. He is also a committee member of the BVI Financial Services Institute Advisory Council dedicated to providing professional education in the BVI. With over 13 years of expertise in his field Gareth will be responsible for the continued growth and development of OFS (BVI) Ltd.

Gareth's appointment fast follows the announcement that Ray Wearmouth joined Ogier BVI's legal team as a Partner from Harney Westwood and Riegels.
