Ogier announces the appointment of Simon Dinning to the partnership with effect from the 1st December 2008.  Simon will continue to lead the British Virgin Islands and Cayman legal offerings from London.

Simon has been a Managing Associate at Ogier since January 2008 having joined from Harney, Westwood and Riegels.  Simon qualified as an English solicitor in 1998 with Herbert Smith, before moving to Shaw Pittman LLP and subsequently DLA Piper in London.  His practice encompasses cross border corporate transactional work (including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and equity capital markets work) and investment funds.

Simon’s promotion to partner is a further indication of the firm’s long term commitment to London.
