Ogier Guernsey has been ranked in the top tier of Guernsey law firms for its investment funds practice. This is the first time an industry commentator has acknowledged the Guernsey office’s prominence in this particular area of expertise and promoted them to a top tier position. The International Financial Law Review published “The IFLR 1000” last week and came to this conclusion following extensive research and client interviews.

Ogier’s level of service and expertise were noted in the publication, with clients commentating that Ogier is a very strong firm with good people there. In particular William Simpson and Roger Le Tissier were acknowledged as two of the jurisdictions foremost funds practitioners. This follows on from the recently published “Legal 500”, which also acknowledged the Guernsey practice’s progression in the local funds market.
