Ogier is delighted to announce the recruitment of managing associate Simon Dinning, who joins the firm’s London office on 7th January from Harney Westwood & Riegels, to boost the development of Ogier’s BVI practice in London.
Simon’s appointment will significantly benefit clients as the London office will now be able to offer both BVI and Cayman legal advice in a European time zone.
Simon specialises in equity capital market transactions, cross-border and multi-jurisdictional mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic alliances and investment funds.
Commenting on the appointment, Gray Smith, Managing Partner of the London office stated,

Simon Dinning added,

Simon’s appointment builds on Ogier’s existing BVI capabilities with the group now being able to offer clients BVI legal advice in all major time zones through offices in London, Guernsey, Hong Kong, Montevideo and the BVI. Simon will enhance Ogier’s existing BVI offering in Europe currently provided by its Guernsey Team, headed up by BVI qualified lawyer; William Simpson, managing partner of Ogier’s Guernsey office, who has been practising BVI law for 19 years.
