Guernsey lawyers at Ogier have acted for Northern Rock in the UK and for its local Guernsey subsidiary following the crisis surrounding the UK mortgage lenders operations.

Roger Le Tissier, partner of Ogier in Guernsey, in conjunction with Freshfields in London, has represented Northern Rock after it asked for emergency funding from the Bank of England to prevent the bank from collapsing which has made headline news in recent weeks.

Ogier regularly advises Northern Rock on all manner of banking and regulatory issues.
