Ogier is pleased to announce the appointment of Nick Gamble as a partner of the Ogier Group L. P.
Nick joins from the finance department of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London where he has been a partner for more than 7 years. Having also worked at Allen & Overy and Nomura, he brings with him considerable expertise across a broad range of debt products and transactions. He will be relocating to Guernsey with a view to taking up his new role in the firm’s Business Trust and Law Group later this year.
Born and educated in Guernsey, Nick also intends to re-qualify in the island and on being admitted to the local Bar he will become a partner of the Ogier Guernsey legal practice.

Nick’s appointment comes after another very impressive year for Ogier following their merger with WSmiths in February and recognition as the top offshore law by 7 independent industry bodies in the past 12 months including winning ‘Offshore Law Firm of the Year’ at The Lawyer Awards in June.
Ogier first opened an office in Guernsey in 1998 and will be celebrating their tenth anniversary of the office in March 2008.
