Ogier has appointed two additional non executive directors to strengthen its legal and fiduciary services businesses.

Lesley MacDonagh was Managing Partner of Lovells, the world’s sixth largest law firm, for 11 years and has held a number of non executive director positions. She brings immense legal acumen and a wealth of business experience to the Ogier legal practice.

John Eaton is former Chief Operating Officer of the Private Clients and International Banking business of Barclays Bank Plc. He held a number of senior positions during his 33 year career in UK and International retail financial services and will bring valuable leadership and financial industry insights to Ogier Fiduciary Services.

Commenting on these appointments, Nick Kershaw, Ogier group chief executive officer, said: “We are delighted to have secured the services of such senior professionals to further strengthen our management team.  Ogier has enjoyed substantial growth in recent years and Lesley and John’s knowledge and guidance will help support continued future expansion of the business, both through continued growth of our existing businesses and by taking advantage of market opportunities.”

Lesley and John will work alongside existing non executive directors, John Stares, who sits on the Group Board and Jeremy Arnold, who chairs the Audit and Risk Committee.
