Article Date - 12/03/2009

Ogier has been awarded honourable mentions for its winning role in one of “Asian-Counsel Deals of the Year 2008" for the following deal:

- Hangzhou Wahaha Group Co Ltd and Danone Asia Ltd litigation

Despite the economic turndown, 500 deals were submitted for consideration by firms across Asia and the Middle East. Through a rigorous selection process, 30 winning deals, as well as honourable mentions were chosen due to their exceptional nature.

Michael Fay, head of litigation and Managing Partner of Ogier BVI commented;

"We are delighted to receive recognition for this deal from Asian-Counsels Deals of the Year 2008. This latest accolade is further testimony to the strength of the litigation team at Ogier."
