As part of our commitment to support the Arts, Ogier Guernsey is bringing internationally acclaimed soprano, Emma Bell, to Guernsey to perform at St James on 3rd November 2011.
Emma will sing Wagner, Mozart, Vaughan-Williams, Lehar, Barber and Howells, and will be accompanied by Cat Beverage. Emma trained at the Royal Academy of Music and the National Opera Studio. Winner of the Kathleen Ferrier Prize in 1998, she was a BBC New Generation Artist in 1999. She is at the forefront of the younger generation of sopranos and is admired for her richly coloured voice and sensitive musicianship.
The performance will commence at 8.00pm on Thursday 3rd November. Tickets will be priced at £12 (£8 senior citizens, £4 students). All net proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Piam Brown Ward (The Wessex Paediatric Oncology Centre, based at Southampton General Hospital). Please click here for more
