A conference on Jersey’s investment funds industry is to be staged on the island in November.
The Jersey Investment Funds Update will feature an impressive line-up of speakers who will review key developments across the regulatory, structural and listing areas and look at the latest market trends.
Chairing the proceedings will be Geoff Cook, the CEO of Jersey Finance.

Tim Morgan, Managing Associate of Ogier; Antony Gardner-Hillman, an independent non-executive director; David Banks, Director of Securities at the JFSC; Wendy Dorman, Associate Partner at Deloitte; Nigel Weston, a Partner at Mourant du Feu and Jeune and Tamara Menteshvili, CEO of the Channel Islands Stock Exchange.
“Jersey is currently reforming its regulatory regime and its legislation in order to maintain and build on its leading European position in the highly specialised and competitive investment funds industry,” Mr Morgan said.
“The panel for this event looks very strong and we think the conference will cover a lot of ground in one day.”
The conference carries six hours of Law Society CPD accreditation.
