Andrew joined Ogier in 2004. He works on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters including real estate investment structures and investment funds as well as undertaking banking and regulatory work. Andrew is admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales and is also admitted as an attorney and counselor at law in New York State and a legal practitioner in Zimbabwe. Prior to joining Ogier, Andrew worked for Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London and Amsterdam. In addition he practised for a number of years with Gill, Godlonton & Gerrans in Harare Zimbabwe.
Andrew's recent transactions include acting for German Investment fund IVG in its purchase of the “Gherkin” tower in London, acting for Portman Building Society in relation to the sale of Portman Channel Islands Limited in Guernsey to Scarborough Building Society, acting for Macquarie Bank Limited in relation to the £8 billion purchase of Thames Water, and acting for Citigroup in relation to the restructuring of a £730 million facility to Punch Taverns plc.
