Giorgio joined Ogier in 2002 and became a partner in 2006. Before joining Ogier, Giorgio practiced at Sullivan & Cromwell in New York (1998 to 2002), Pinheiro Neto - Advogados in São Paulo (1994 to 1995) and Linklaters in London and Paris (1992 to 1994 and 1995 to 1997).
He received his Diploma de Estudios Hispánicos from the University of Málaga, Spain in 1986; his LL.B., with Honours, from the University of London, King's College, in 1990; his Maîtrise en Droit, avec mention, from the University of Paris I, Panthéon-Sorbonne, in the same year; and his LL.M. from University of Michigan Law School at Ann Arbor in 1992.
Giorgio is the honorary consul of Brazil in the Cayman Islands. He is a Notary Public in the Cayman Islands and a member of the Cayman Islands Law Society, the Law Society of England and Wales and the New York Bar Association.
Giorgio is fluent in English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish.
