Background:
Ian is a Barrister of England and Wales and joined the Litigation group as an Associate in February 2008. Prior to joining Ogier, he worked at London firm Peters & Peters and Mourant du Feu & Jeune in Jersey. Ian is presently studying for the local advocacy exams with a view to being admitted as a Jersey Advocate.
Ian completed an M.A. in Classics and an M.Litt in Ancient History at the University of St. Andrews before training as a Barrister and is a member of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple.
Ian has recently had an article published ‘Bank Accounts: Secure or Insecure?’ in the Jersey Law Review 2007.
