Nigel Sanders is a Senior Associate within the Litigation group in Jersey. He is experienced in handling local and multi-jurisdictional disputes arising in a wide range of fields, including company and commercial, contentious trusts, banking, funds, construction and engineering and insurance. Nigel also advises generally on insolvency and regulatory matters. He joined Ogier in 2006 from Walkers in the Cayman Islands.
Nigel qualified as an English Solicitor in 1991 with Frere Cholmeley. He joined Macfarlanes in 1995, where he spent his first three years based in Abu Dhabi. In 2003, he joined Walkers and was admitted as a Cayman Islands Attorney at Law. He has a law degree from the University of Hull and a Masters in Advanced Litigation from Nottingham Trent University.
Nigel is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales.
Nigel was named in the commercial litigation section of the 2007 Edition of Who's Who Legal International Business Lawyers.
