Nigel Sanders is a Partner within the Litigation group in Jersey. He has a broad contentious practice and is experienced in local and multi-jurisdictional disputes, often involving fraud and asset tracing, arising in the trusts, company, financial and property related areas. He also advises on regulatory and restructuring/insolvency issues.
Nigel joined Ogier in 2006 and became a partner in February 2011. Prior to that he qualified as an English Solicitor in 1991 with Frere Cholmeley. He joined Macfarlanes in 1995 (based in Abu Dhabi initially) before moving to Walkers in the Cayman Islands in 2003. Nigel qualified as an Advocate of the Royal Court of Jersey in July 2009. He has a law degree from the University of Hull and a Masters in Advanced Litigation from Nottingham Trent University.
Nigel is a member of the Jersey Law Society and the Law Society of England and Wales.
Nigel was named in the commercial litigation section of the 2007 Edition of Who's Who Legal International Business Lawyers.
