Sara Johns joined Ogier in 2003 and qualified as an Advocate of the Royal Court of Jersey in 2006.
Sara graduated in 1989 from Clare College, Cambridge University with a Master of Arts in English Literature. Having obtained a Distinction in the Law Society Finals examinations in 1992, she qualified as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England & Wales in 1994 when she also became a member of the Law Society of England & Wales.
Having initially trained with Eversheds in Norwich, Sara moved to London in 1995 where she worked as a corporate and commercial lawyer with a particular focus on information technology transactions until returning to her native Jersey in 2003. Now a Managing Associate in Ogier's Business and Trusts Law Group, Sara continues to specialise in mergers and acquisitions, AIM listings, corporate financings and restructurings, and joint ventures.
