Background:

Sean Inggs is an Associate within the Business & Trust Law Group in Jersey. He specialises in corporate work including private equity structures, private placements, corporate reorganisations, IPOs and M&A transactions.

Sean joined Ogier in 2008 from a leading corporate and commercial law firm in South Africa where he spent 3 years. He was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of the Northern Provinces in South Africa in January 2007.

Recent Key Transactions include:

  • Advising a number of UK listed entities in relation to share placings and rights issues, most notably those by Rio Tinto plc, British Land Company plc, Drax Group plc, Shanks Group plc, Liberty International plc, GKN plc, Greene King plc and Prudential plc.
  • Acting for Petrokamchata plc in connection with its corporate restructuring and IPO on the Toronto Ventures Stock Exchange.
  • Advising Barwa Real Estate Company (Qatar listed entity) on its acquisition of Park House Oxford Street property from Land Securities plc.
  • Advising Computer Patent Annuities Limited in connection with its £250 million court sanctioned scheme of arrangement.
  • Advising Yell Group plc on its multi-billion Euro European restructuring.
