Steven Meiklejohn is a Partner and head of the Trust and Estate Planning Team at Ogier. He became a partner at Ogier in 1988 and joined the Trust and Estate Planning team in 1996. Steve had a varied general practice in the first part of his career acting for Jersey resident private clients and businesses.
He qualified as an Advocate in 1985.
Steve sits on the branch committee of STEP in Jersey. He is currently in the Working Parties considering trust law reform in Jersey, the introduction of Foundations and the amending of the Codes of Practice under the Financial Services (Jersey) Law 1998 for trust company businesses.
Steve also featured in the 2007 Legal Business guide for top offshore lawyers in the "Ten of the Best: Private Client"
