Ogier's Jersey team advises on $1.5 billion EN+ IPO

Ogier has advised EN+ Group PLC (EN+) on its initial public offering (IPO) of shares representing global depositary receipts listed on London Stock Exchange PLC.  Ogier also advised Basic Element Limited as a selling shareholder of EN+.

Ogier advised on all Jersey law and British Virgin Islands' law aspects of the IPO alongside lead counsel White & Case LLP.

EN+ is a leading vertically integrated aluminium and power producer with core assets located in Russia.  EN+ and its group is the world's largest independent hydro power generator and largest aluminium producer outside of China. The successful IPO raised US$1,500,000,000.

The Ogier team was led by Simon Dinning (partner and global head of corporate) advising on Jersey and BVI law, assisted by Alexander Curry (managing associate, Jersey law), Michael Robinson (associate, Jersey law) and Wendy Walker (senior associate, BVI law).

Simon Dinning said: "We have a long history of advising EN+ and are delighted to have been involved in this very significant event. This deal allowed the Ogier team to clearly demonstrate its multi-jurisdictional capability in advising on BVI and Jersey law from one team."
