Seven Ogier partners from across the firm’s jurisdictions have featured in the latest Expert Guide Series which lists the leading investment fund lawyers across the globe. Peter Cockhill, James Bergstrom, and Colin MacKay (Cayman), William Simpson (Guernsey), Nicholas Plowman (Hong Kong) and Tim Morgan and Richard Thomas (Jersey) were all named in the Guide to the World’s Leading Investment Funds Lawyers, which is part of the Expert Guides series, for 2010.

These latest endorsements for the firm come on the back of a string of awards and recognition achieved for the prominent role Ogier plays in the investment funds arena.

Ogier advises on the laws of four key offshore jurisdictions:  BVI, Cayman, Guernsey and Jersey and each of the Ogier offices in those jurisdictions have achieved high rankings in legal directories for their investment funds advice in recent years. Most recently the Ogier Hong Kong office was promoted to tier one for investment funds advice by PLC Which Lawyer? in recognition of the growing impact the firm has in the region. Ogier Hong Kong now has lawyers in place able to advise on BVI, Cayman, Guernsey and Jersey law matters in the Asian time zone.
