Ogier Partner Kate Hodson to moderate Japan AIMA panel on cryptocurrencies

Partner Kate Hodson will be moderating a panel discussion titled "Cryptocurrencies and their place in the Alternative Investment Fund Market" as part of the Ogier-sponsored Japan Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA) Seminar, to be held in Tokyo on 15 March.

Kate, who was named "Best Offshore Lawyer" in the Euromoney Asia Women in Business Law Awards 2017, recently advised on the Cayman law elements of the launch of Bletchley Park Asset Management's first cryptocurrency fund.

She is a member of Ogier's dedicated Digital, Blockchain and Fintech team established to assist clients operating or investing in businesses in the Fintech sector and clients implementing investment strategies and developing businesses involving cryptocurrencies, digital assets and blockchain technology.

Skip Hashimoto, Managing Director of Ogier in Tokyo, will also be in attendance.
