Ogier has donated $11,000 to the Kiwanis Key Leader programme as part of the firm's continued charity and support work for the local community, enabling Kiwanis to open up its life and leadership skills training to more young people in Cayman.

The Kiwanis Key Leader programme teaches teenage students from all backgrounds life skills, from writing thank you notes to leading a group, with the aim of building young people's confidence and character and inspiring them to achieve their best through service leadership. Now in its 11th year, the programme has trained over 700 high school students since its inception in Cayman in 2005.

Programme Coordinator Kadi Pentney noted that, "At all other Key Leaders throughout the globe, students pay around $185 to attend but in Cayman we are the only location that charges a nominal $25 commitment fee. We are able to do this thanks to sponsors like Ogier, so that no student has a financial barrier to experiencing such an incredible weekend that is not only fun but can be life changing. We are proud to say many students go on to become great leaders and make a positive impact in the Cayman community".

This year, 85 students have been enrolled in the programme and local volunteers, including Ogier employees, are signing on to help make the weekend a success.

Ogier partner Giorgio Subiotto said, "We are thrilled to support the Key Leader programme once again and it is important to our firm that our team gets involved beyond just the financial contributions that we make. Our CSR work is something we're very proud of - it's fantastic for us as a business to be able to give back to the local community. We received such positive feedback from the students who participated and their families and we hope the programme will continue to grow from strength to strength."

Ogier has also donated an additional $3,000 to the Kiwanis "Buy a Kid a Breakfast" programme, which provides healthy breakfast to needy children in the eight primary schools throughout Grand Cayman.

Kadi added, "The Kiwanis Club is so grateful for Ogier's support of the children of Cayman! Investing in the leaders of tomorrow is so important and Ogier's generosity has made this possible."
