Ogier is inviting applications for its 2017/18 Bursary intake and the England & Wales Trainee Solicitor programme.
The bursary scheme supports prospective lawyers through their academic studies and the trainee solicitor programme is a two-year training contract available in Jersey and Guernsey enabling individuals to qualify as a Solicitor of England and Wales.
Both schemes have a thorough selection process including minimum academic standards, but those selected enjoy financial benefits, together with opportunities to develop and progress their careers in a collaborative environment.
Ogier’s Group Resourcing Manager Carla Jost said: "We invest in these schemes because we see them as a way of investing in our future, and in the next generation of legal talent.
"This time last year, a former bursary student who was one of the firm's first intake of trainees on the Solicitor scheme was promoted to the partnership – that demonstrates the commitment that we make to the young people who make it on to our bursary and training programmes."
The bursary scheme is open to students due to sit their A Levels or equivalent in 2017, as well as students at university or sitting legal qualifications.
