Senior associate Claire Smith spoke today at the Jersey Construction Council (JeCC) Annual Debate on the proposed introduction of a Jersey Infrastructure Levy.
The proposed levy is the subject of debate in the Island generally, and the panel discussion comes ahead of the States' own debate on the matter later this month.
Claire's talk centred on the introduction of the Community Infrastructure Levy in the UK, the challenges faced in its implementation and what lessons can be learned from this in Jersey.
Claire said: "I was very pleased to speak at the JeCC Annual Debate on such a pivotal issue for Jersey.
"Ogier is pleased to support the construction council and contribute to the important conversations concerning property, construction and planning law on the Island."
