Ogier's Head of Dispute Resolution for Caribbean and Asia Rachael Reynolds is speaking at the inaugural International Wealth Structuring Forum hosted by STEP Cayman Islands over the next two days.
Rachael, who specialises in contentious trust matters and disputes, will take part in a mock contested directions application which will close out Day One of the conference.
Many of the world’s leading trust professionals will present at the conference over the course of the two-day event, which is sponsored by Ogier.
Besides Rachael, partner Anthony Partridge, senior associate Fraser Allister and associates Cline Gildden and Oliver Goodwin will also be attending the forum.
Rachael said: "We are pleased to be sponsoring another STEP event, and I'm very much looking forward to our session which will hopefully be a lively and informative exploration of the issues we often see in direction applications.
"The other sessions will cover the relevant key changes in the trusts world including beneficial ownership, the new foundation company structure, data protection and planning for life after death in the 21st century – all of which are having, or have the potential to have, a real impact on the way that we work.
"Ogier's team in Cayman has expanded in the last 12 months by the addition of new partners specialising in trusts and dispute resolution because we see significant growth in this area."
