I am extremely pleased to announce the appointment of Nicholas Plowman as a new Group Partner with effect from 1st February 2010.

Nick joined the Hong Kong office in January 2006 from Slaughter and May. Nick has extensive experience in large cross border and multi-jurisdictional transactions as well as private acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures. He also has a strong focus on investment funds based in Asia, particularly with regard to private equity, fund-of-funds and hedge funds.

Nick received his Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts (Asian Economic History (First Class)) from University of Auckland

Nick is admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales, the British Virgin Islands and New Zealand and is also a Registered Foreign Lawyer regulated by the Hong Kong Law Society.

Nick is one of five new partners appointed across the Ogier Group as a result of the substantial growth of the Group. Nick has been an integral part of the growth and success of our Asian operations and we look forward to further success in 2010 and beyond.
