Chris Byrne is the head of the firm's Structured Finance Team. He joined Ogier from Allen & Overy where he had spent more than 6 years, and has been a partner since 1997. He advises local and international banks and other financial institutions on all aspects of their business and has substantial banking and structured finance practice. He is also a director of the Ogier listing agent entity and has extensive experience of listing debt.
Chris is recognised as a leading practitioner by Chambers Global, Who's Who Legal 2007 for Banking and PLC Which Lawyer 2007 for Corporate and Finance. He is also recognised in the 2007 edition IFLR 1000 Legal Directory as a leading Jersey Advocate for Corporate and Commercial advice.
