Frances Watson is a Partner of Ogier. She qualified as an English Solicitor in 1999 and as a Guernsey Advocate in 2007.
Prior to joining Ogier she worked for seven years with Allen & Overy LLP, one of the leading London law firms, where she advised on a wide variety of corporate and corporate finance matters.
Since joining Ogier in 2005 Frances has developed her practice to focus on investment funds, stock exchange listings and a variety of corporate and commercial matters. These include being involved in some noteworthy Guernsey transactions such as the recent first ever listing of a fund on the new London Stock Exchange’s Specialist Fund Market.
Fran is recognised by PLC Which Lawyer? 2011 as a leading individual in Guernsey for Corporate & M&A work as well as for Investment Funds work. She is also ranked in the Corporate & Finance (including investment funds) section of Chambers & Partners UK, 2011.
