Michael specialises in corporate law, dispute resolution and trusts. Michael routinely works with law firms throughout the world with respect to large multi-jurisdictional transactions and disputes.
Prior to joining Ogier, Michael Fay practiced at 5 Fountain Court and 11 New Square between 1989 and 1996. He relocated to the British Virgin Islands in 1996 where he worked as a Partner at WSmiths prior to its merger with Ogier in 2007.
Michael is a member of STEP and is also the Vice-President of the British Virgin Islands Bar Association. He is a member of the BVI Government Company Law Review Committee.
Michael attended Nottingham Law School where he graduated with an LLB in 1988. He then went on to the Inns of Court School of Law and was called to the Bar in 1989.
