Oliver Godwin is a partner in the London office. He specialises in Cayman Islands law and has extensive experience in advising on corporate and investment funds matters. In particular he focuses on the establishment, maintenance, restructuring and listing of hedge funds and private equity funds. He advises a range of investment managers, intermediaries and financial institutions.

Oliver joined Ogier in February 2011, having previously worked for Carey Olsen and Maples and Calder. Before that Oliver worked for Ogier in the Cayman Islands, where he was admitted as an attorney at law in 2005.  Prior to moving offshore, he was at Lovells and Andersen Legal in London.
