Dilmun’s practice relates to fund structuring, corporate transactions and regulatory matters. He acts for both regulated and unregulated fund structures, as well as fund managers, investment advisors and corporates.
Dilmun has particular experience of dealing with all aspects of investment funds, including fund launches, co-investment and carry vehicles, AIFMD, marketing, regulatory aspects, restructuring work including in relation to distressed funds and windings up.
Dilmun also has a wide range of corporate, commercial and real estate experience which includes advising on company and limited partnership law and drafting and negotiating contracts.
Dilmun joined Ogier in 2012 from legacy Herbert Smith LLP in London where he specialised in drafting and negotiating complex construction contracts for projects including power stations, City office blocks and shopping centres and he was seconded to Bell Gully in Wellington, New Zealand.
Dilmun obtained a first class degree in History from the University of Leeds in 2004, a graduate diploma in law with a commendation from Nottingham Law School in 2006, and a diploma in legal practice with distinction from BPP in London in 2007. He is a member of the Law Society of England & Wales.
Dilmun is recognised as a Rising Star in the IFLR 1000 2017.
