Clients value Jody's experience in establishing and launching Cayman Islands investment funds. She also provides ongoing Cayman Islands legal advice to investment funds and managers to comply with Cayman Islands legal and regulatory requirements.

In providing Cayman Islands legal advice in general corporate matters, Jody's specific expertise includes the deregistration, voluntary liquidation and strike off of Cayman Islands entities.

Jody is active in developing the Ogier team, including training and mentoring junior associates and articled clerks in Cayman.

Prior to joining Ogier in 2008, Jody articled and practiced with the Attorney General’s Chambers in the Cayman Islands and acted as Legal Counsel with the Caledonian Group in the Cayman Islands.

Jody received her Bachelor of Laws, with honours, from the University of Liverpool, England in 2003 and passed the Cayman Islands Legal Advisory Council Professional Practice Course with distinction in 2005.

Jody is a member of Cayman Islands Legal Practitioners Association.
