As well as advising on general corporate and financial services related matters, he regularly advises many of Guernsey's fiduciary companies on their terms and conditions of business and provides training on corporate matters to fiduciaries, banks and fund administrators.
Michael also has an interest in data protection, e-gaming and intellectual property rights and regularly advises in relation to the registration of image rights and trademarks and the licensing and assignment of all intellectual property rights. Michael undertook the world’s first registration of a model’s image right.

Michael studied law at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne and joined Ogier in May 2017 – he has substantial experience both in onshore and offshore law, and advises on Guernsey law and BVI law, being a member of Ogier's European BVI law team.
Michael is a council member of local male cancer charity, MUG.
