Background:
Benjamin Wrench is a Senior Associate and joined Ogier in 2008. Benjamin was called to the English Bar in 1995 and worked in the city of London both in compliance and as an in-house legal adviser at a prime brokerage firm before specialising in investment funds.
Benjamin worked in the financial services group at Lovells before moving to Guernsey in 2003 where he has continued his specialist expertise in investment funds including those investing in property, funds of funds, private equity, derivatives, healthcare, emerging markets, and public infrastructure. He also advises on the establishment, structuring, listing, financing, amalgamation, migration and liquidation of investment funds as well as financial services regulation generally.
He is a member of the investment funds committee of the International Bar Association.
