Shaun joined Ogier in 2008. Prior to joining Ogier, Shaun was Head of Commercial and Chancery Law at the Court of Appeal of England & Wales, London (2006 to 2008) and practised at Tucker & Cowen (2003 to 2006), a leading commercial litigation and insolvency firm in Brisbane, Australia.
He received his Bachelor of Laws, with Honours, and his Bachelor of Legal and Justice Studies in 2002, both from Southern Cross University, New South Wales and his Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law, Sydney in 2003.
Shaun has extensive experience acting both for and against insolvency practitioners in all forms of external administrations, including liquidations and receiverships, and advises on both contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters, as well as general commercial disputes. He is a contributing author to International Asset Tracing in Insolvency, Oxford University Press, 2010.
Shaun is a member of the Cayman Islands Law Society, the Law Society of England & Wales, the Queensland Law Society and the Law Society of New South Wales.
