Peter is an experienced banking and finance lawyer with over thirteen years’ Jersey legal experience. Peter has an extensive banking and structured finance practice which includes a large Channel Islands Securities Exchange and Cayman Islands Stock Exchange debt listing practice.
Peter’s clients include financial institutions such as Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., London Branch, HSBC Bank plc, The Royal Bank of Scotland plc, Barclays Bank plc, Morgan Stanley & Co. International plc, Deutsche Bank AG, London, Akbank T.A.S. and BNP Paribas as well as numerous other global financial institutions and private equity funds, pension plans (including Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan) and other global corporates. Peter regularly gives presentations to City law firms on listing debt on the Channel Islands Securities Exchange and Cayman Islands Stock Exchange.
Prior to joining Ogier in 2002, he worked as a legal assistant at various city firms including Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP and Linklaters LLP. Peter received his LLB with Honours from The University of Bristol in 1998.
Peter is a member of the Law Society of England & Wales.
