Polly is a Guernsey Advocate and counsel in Ogier's Guernsey business and trust law group and has a broad range of expertise, including working in private practice both in England and offshore, and an in-house role at an international private bank.
  • Background

    Polly's practise includes advising professional trustees, corporate service providers and fund custodians on day to day matters such as investment decisions, financing transactions, rights and duties, and regulation. Polly regularly advises on the establishment, operation, migration, restructuring and termination of trusts, companies, foundations, charitable structures, pensions and employee reward schemes.

    Prior to joining Ogier, Polly acted as senior legal counsel to an international private bank, primarily advising their private client and fund custodian teams in Guernsey, Jersey, the UK and the Isle of Man. During her time there Polly assisted in several major intra-group restructurings.

    Polly is qualified in Guernsey law and trained as an English solicitor at another local law firm, prior to moving to Burges Salmon LLP where she was an associate in the Banking and Insolvency department.
