Deal

25 October 2019

Guernsey

Ogier has advised one of the largest telecommunications companies in Greece in a €525M high yield bond offering.

Working with onshore counsel Milbank LLP, Ogier's Banking and Finance specialists in Guernsey advised longstanding client and mobile phone technology pioneer WIND Hellas in a high yield bond offering of €525 million 4.250% senior secured notes due 2024 which will shortly be listed on the Official List of The International Stock Exchange. WIND Hellas will use the new bond to pay back its €275 million senior secured notes due 2021 and keep €210 million on its balance sheet. It will also sign a new €75 million revolving credit facility.

Ogier partner Christopher Jones said: "We are delighted to have worked with Milbank to advise our longstanding client on another successful fundraising. Our team has built a significant track record in this area over the last few years."

The Ogier team was led by Christopher Jones with support from managing associate Paul Chanter, associate Jonathan Branch and paralegal James Hewlett.
