We are delighted to offer this Channel Islands webinar where Helen Ruelle, Rachel DeSangesWill Austin-Vautier, Fay Warrilow and Victoria Randall will walk through some of the common (and some of the less common) issues and risks that can arise out of staff festivities and how those risks can be managed.

The session will cover some of the key employment law themes from 2022 together with recent case law that directly impacts how staff social events might be organised going forward, for example:

  • enhanced regulatory controls relating to sexual misconduct in some sectors
  • the introduction of the Prevention of Discrimination (Guernsey) Ordinance, 2022
  • relevant data law updates and considerations
  • the post covid world, social distancing and remote working
