Ogier has promoted four new partners across its Cayman, Jersey and Luxembourg teams after all four graduated through the firm's dedicated partnership development programme.
Anne-Gaëlle Delabye (Investment Funds – Luxembourg), Oliver Passmore (Dispute Resolution – Jersey), Mark Santangeli (Banking & Finance – Cayman) and Justin Savage (Investment Funds – Cayman) all join Ogier's partnership effective from today.
The four promotions mean that Ogier has promoted 18 to partner through the internal development programme since 2014, in addition to significant growth through talented individuals attracted from competitor firms.
Edward Mackereth, Ogier's Global Managing Partner, said: "Investing in and supporting talent across the firm is of fundamental importance to Ogier, and we are proud and delighted to be able to announce that Anne-Gaëlle, Oliver, Mark and Justin have joined the partnership.
"Each has made their mark on the firm and have demonstrated that they are ready to take on leadership roles.
"Our leadership team has invested time and resources into putting together an advanced and broad talent development programme, because we recognise the importance of ensuring that our talented lawyers have the right tailored support to develop into future leaders."
Anne-Gaëlle Delabye in Luxembourg has a very strong background in both alternative funds and UCITS and joined Ogier in January 2017 after working in international law firms in Luxembourg for more than 10 years.
Oliver Passmore is a Jersey Advocate specialising in trusts and corporate disputes who has been with Ogier for ten years, after practising as a barrister and solicitor in New Zealand and as a barrister in England.
Mark Santangeli is a Cayman Banking & Finance lawyer who worked in-house before joining Ogier's Cayman team in 2008, and who specialises in fund finance, asset finance and structured financing.
Justin Savage practised in London and in Tokyo before joining Ogier's Cayman Investment Funds team in 2013. He advises on the full life-cycle of open-ended and closed-ended investment funds, private equity structures and international corporate transactions.
