Ogier's Head of Dispute Resolution and Trusts Disputes Rachael Reynolds and Dispute Resolution partner Brian Lacy will both be speaking at the Legal Week Private Client Global Elite Trust and Estates Litigation Forum 2020 in Morocco this week.

The three-day Ogier-sponsored international private client conference will explore topical issues in recent contentious trust proceedings.

Rachael will join Brian Simms QC of Lennox Paton and Professor Jonathan Harris of Serle Court in a session entitled "Conflict of laws: Exclusive jurisdiction clauses in trusts" and Brian will join an interactive focus group called "Trustees: Claimant, investigator and prisoner?"

Rachael said: "I am delighted to be speaking at the Trust & Estates Litigation Forum 2020, which is one of the leading conferences for trust litigators to connect and discuss recent industry developments.

"The use of exclusive jurisdiction clauses in trusts is a complex and at times contentious area – I look forward to exploring the issues with Brian and Jonathan in our discussion."

Dispute Resolution partner Nick Williams from Ogier's Jersey office and managing associate Sandie Lyne from Ogier's Guernsey office will also be in attendance.

The conference will take place at the Four Seasons Resort in Marrakech from 26 to 28 February.
