Ogier trusts disputes partners Mathew Newman and Brian Lacy will speak at the annual forum for the world's leading trust and estate litigators in Spain next month.

The three-day Ogier-sponsored international private client conference will explore topical issues in recent contentious trust proceedings with a special focus on wealth structuring.

Mathew Newman, who leads Ogier's Guernsey Dispute Resolution team, will join a panel looking at some of the most important contentious trust proceedings in offshore jurisdictions at Legal Week's Trust & Estates Litigation Forum 2019.

Brian Lacy, who heads Ogier's BVI Dispute Resolution team, will join a panel alongside Mark Harper of Hughes Fowler Carruthers, David Kavanagh QC of Skadden, Arps, Meagher & Flom, and Fozeia Rana-Fahy of MJM Barristers & Attorneys to discuss new enforcement strategies in divorce awards against trustees.

Mathew said: "We are very pleased to be sharing our experience at the Trust & Estates Litigation Forum 2019, which is the leading conference for litigators to connect and discuss recent developments in industry.

"I am very much looking forward to presenting some of the noteworthy cases over the last year."

The conference will take place at the Hotel Camiral in Girona, Spain.
