Ogier's Global Head of Dispute Resolution to join debate in Ogier-sponsored STEP Cayman conference

News

24 January 2019

Cayman Islands

Partner and Global Head of Dispute Resolution Rachael Reynolds will speak at the Ogier-sponsored STEP Cayman conference which is taking place on 31 January and 1 February 2019.

The two-day international private client conference will explore the topical issues pertinent to the trust industry with a special focus on wealth structuring. Over 40 international trust experts will deliver advice on recent developments through in-depth discussion, analysis and topical case studies.

Rachael – who specialises in contentious trusts matters - will join a debate for the closing session of the conference, in opposition to the motion "This House believes that ADR (alternative dispute resolution) is a myth and litigation is king!".

Partner Anthony Partridge, managing associate Jennifer Fox and senior associates Fraser Allister and Shaun Maloney will also be attending the event which is sponsored by Ogier.

Rachael said "We are very pleased to be sponsoring STEP Cayman – this is the second year of this particular STEP conference and is already becoming one of the must-attend international events in the calendar for all private client practitioners, and I am very much looking forward to participating in the ADR debate, which promises to be lively!

"The other sessions will cover the relevant key changes in the trusts world including foundation companies, IFC's and digital assets for trustees.

"Ogier's Cayman team continues to expand with the addition of several new attorneys specialising in dispute resolution; this continues to be a significant offering for the firm, and is a focus of growth in all our jurisdictions."

The conference will take place at the Kimpton Seafire Resort in Cayman.
