Ogier's Kate Hodson nominated to retain Asia Women in Business Law Awards offshore award

News

03 October 2018

Hong Kong, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands

Ogier partner Kate Hodson, who won the Asia Women in Business Law Awards offshore category last year, has been shortlisted for the award again.

Kate is a partner in Ogier's Hong Kong investment funds team, specialising in BVI and Cayman legal advice.

Kate, who became Ogier's youngest partner in 2015 at the age of 34, won the Euromoney Legal Media Group Asia Women in Business Law Awards offshore category at an event at the JW Marriott Hong Kong in 2017, and was named in the shortlist for the award again today.

The awards celebrate the advancement of women in the legal profession throughout the region, and recognises individuals as well as the best firm-wide initiatives for gender diversity, innovation, work-life balance, pro-bono work and talent management.

Kate advises sponsors and fund managers as well as their onshore counsel on the establishment and structuring of private equity funds, hedge funds and other closed ended and opened ended fund structures, with particular expertise in respect of partnership and unit trust structures.

The awards take place at the Island Shangri-La in Hong Kong on 8 November.
