Wins for Ogier's Jersey and Guernsey Private Wealth teams at Citywealth IFC Awards

Ogier's private wealth teams from Jersey and Guernsey have been recognised with awards at the Citywealth IFC Awards in London.

Advocate James Campbell, who leads the firm's Global Private Wealth teams, was at the event to collect the silver awards on behalf of the teams.

Ogier has been recognised at the awards for the last three years in a row.

The IFC Awards mark a strong start to the year for the firm which last year was named International Team of the Year in the Legal Week Innovation Awards 2018, and Offshore Law Firm of the Year by Chambers Europe 2018, as well as being one of just 31 global firms listed in IFLR's Firms to Watch.

James said: "This is a great start to 2019 for the team, and reflects another year of hard work by our partners and our teams.

"Last year saw a huge variety of instructions to our Jersey and Guernsey teams, prompted by global political uncertainty, changes to regulation and new laws creating opportunities for new structuring, family offices and philanthropy in particular.

"We expect demand to continue to be strong, and have been focusing on strengthening our teams in advance of what we expect to be another very busy year."

The Citywealth IFC awards highlight excellence in private wealth, and are judged by an international panel, with criteria stressing technical expertise, innovative solutions, client service initiatives, leadership and vision.
