Catherine is an associate in Ogier's Cayman Islands Investment Funds team. Having worked at a major City firm in London before moving offshore, she specialises in financial services law, and advises on fund structuring and regulation.

    Catherine's role in the Cayman Investment Funds team includes advising on fund structuring and regulation; coordinating establishment, restructuring and liquidation of various types of fund and corporate structures; liaising with managers, administrators, advisors and legal counsel in respect of fund transactions and fund marketing; drafting and negotiating fund and corporate documents; and preparing regulatory applications.

    She has cross-border experience on multi-jurisdictional projects and undertook two secondments to major retail banks while in her previous role.

    Catherine is experienced in a broad range of issues arising under both sector specific regulation and non-sector specific legislation.

    Prior to joining Ogier, Catherine was a part of the Commercial and Retail Banking team at Hogan Lovells in London.

    Catherine is a member of the Law Society for England and Wales.
